Haruki Murakami

This author intrigues me. I've read a short story of his and liked it. Anyone read any of his novels? And, if so, should I proceed?

I personally liked Kafka on the Shore the best. But I'd recommend some of his other works first. The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles is good.
