I've never heard of Lovecraft, but I do keep having dreams about that "Cthulhu" you've mentioned, and a city of non-Euclidian proportion

Oi. I just started reading "At the Mountains of Maddness". What other stories should I read next?

There's some online collections of all of his works

Haven't gotten through too many yet, but it's some nice "kill some time" literature.

And a link for the lazy:

Try Dagon, Call of Cthulhu, The Shadow Over Innsmouth and Shadow Out of Time.

Who ISN'T a Lovecraft fan?

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-27 23:31

Nobody is a fan of the Randoplh Carter/Dreamlands stories?

And not a single mention of his poetry or Dunsany-like tales, much less Dunsany himself?  Get down to your local library and remember he wrote more than about the Elder Gods.

But they are waiting for when the stars are right...

Dreamlands rules; Carter is my hero

Don't change these.
