Sula by Toni Morrison

Okay, didn't have any luck with Song of Solomon.. sooooo.. has anyone read THIS book before? It's about two black girls growing up in Ohio, in a town called Bottom that is way up in the hills. It follows the life of both girls and their families, how one grew to accept settling down is the way to go, while the other could not settle down. She travels the world, fucks many men, does a lot of shit, all to leave her mark on the world. When she returns to see her friend, who has settled down, she notices that a lot of things have changed. etc. etc.

Great novel, really short (less than 200 pages), check it out.
