My favorites are all the Vimes books, notably Night Watch and The Fifth Elephant. Vimes is just awesome. But discounting Vimes books, there's something abuot Soul Music I really love.

okay, never touched any of the discworld series before. however i am fairly interested to buy one. heaps of them are available at the discount book store.
I'm going to have to go with Thief of Time simply because it amused me so. Although I love the vimes series they've become... rather formulaic of late i suppose.

I have to say my favorite characters are the Lancre Witches, in particular Grnany Weatherwax. HOWEVER, despite this, y favorite book in the series is Going Postal.
