what books do you wish you would have read as a kid?

I read The Outsiders as an adult.  I wonder why I never read it as a kid. :(

when I was young I liked Wayside School is Falling Down.  it made me lol at the time.

when you go back and read books as an adult, some are just as good as you remember them, some aren't.  that's just how it goes, I guess.

The Westing Game was a good book.  The cable TV movie kinda sucked though.

The Wayside School books are fantastic, even as an adult. :)
