Stephen King

Even though he shits out more books then Jay Leno does bad jokes, I just recently discovered that I enjoy his writing.  Many people told me to not read his publications because they were overrated, but I did anyway.

I enjoyed Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of The Shining, so I tried the book and ended up really liking it.  I just recently finished Different Seasons (A collection of short stories.)  I bought Cell and finished as well.  I'm beginning on The Stand, and so far I enjoy it.

So, Stephen King?

Good, bad, ugly, overrated, etc?

The Cell was terrible

I thought it was decent.  But not nearly as well written as any of his older novels.  Ever since being struck by that car, I don't think he's been able to write again.
