Has anyone here read the last few Vampire chronicles(after Blood and Gold)?
Is anyone else too frightened to read them, for fear that Ms. Rice's crossover style self-fanficing will melt their brains, destroy their souls, and reduce them to drooling zombies that will be locked away in a padded room to sob quietly for the rest of their lives?
BTW I am so so so so not against Lestat meeting the Pope and demading to be canonized, but can't read about it for reasons above. :(

Anne Rice sucks. I'm not sure what she sucks, but she's definitely doing it.

Yeah I read Blood Canticle and it rulez, her way is different form The Vampire Lestat true, but its still ace.
after IWTV she starts getting self indulgent. too bad about that.

I always thought they were alright up untill the Armand and Mael burned themselves up. To much religion right there. Plus I loved Mael. The Tale of the Body Snatcher was like... "well ok". But she made up for that just with Lestat running around like an idiot.

Actually all males, when they become vampires, get eternal hard-ons, but lose the ability to get their rocks off. Read the fucking books.
Also whenever he's mortal (Vampire Lestat, and Tale of the Body Theif) he fucks anything that moves (roffles on him trying to sodomize 80 y/o David Talbot btw)
Armand probably had the most sex. He spent an entire week living with lots of big gay men.

Pandora pg 254-255 soft cover,
"Fill me, take me," I said. I reached down betwen his legs.
"It doesn't matter now."
But it was hard*, this organ I sought, the organ forever lost to the god Oriris. I guided it hard* and cold as it was, into my body.
In the Vampire Armand, Armand talks about how Marius would always jack him off, and how Marius was always hard but would never do him. (Idon't have a copy though T_T)
Queen of the Damned (when Lestat is with Akasha and those chicks are bathing him) pg 357
I studied my reflection -- my chest was like a marble torso in a museum, that white. And the organ, the organ we don't need, poised as if ready* for what it would never again know how to do or want to do, marble, a priapus at a gate.
Tale of the Body Theif (when Lestat gets a human body and is going to take a piss for the first time in more that 400 years) pg 171
I unzipped these modern pants, and removed my organ, which immediately astonished me by it's limpness* and size**. The size was fine, of course. Who doesn't want these organs to be large? And it was circumcised, whice was a nice touch***. But this limpness, it felt remarkably repulsive to me*, and I didn't want to touch the thing. I had to remind myself this organ happens to be mine**. Jolly!****
* Vampires have hardons.
**Lestat's penis is probably small-average size.
***Lestat prefers his men cut.
**** X3 Roffles.
STFU and read the goddamn books.

We are arguing Anne Rice's version of vamipe lore because this is a thread about Anne Rice and her vampire related books.
You see, when people discuss certain topics with one another, they tend to discuss those topics with one another. Because if they didn't talk about the subject they were talking about, then they wouldn't be talking about that subject, and then they'd be talking about something else.
We are discussing about Anne Rice and her vampires. Hence the fact that Anne Rice, and her vampires, are being discussed.
