Predictable and simplistic.

Yes because the finest thoughts of man are entropic and not to be understood by anyone else.

More likely, you're angry with the book because it said everything you couldn't and more than you ever will. That, or the appearance of a predictable plot and short words spun your childlike mind into assumptions and confusion; so that you missed everything that was meant and understood only the plot. Sad and typical.

Grow up. I can appreciate good literature and simply because we disagree on matters of taste has nothing to do with a "childlike mind".

You keep on reading what people tell you too, and appreciate the bits they tell you to appreciate.

give Island a read, same author, opposite premise. i really liked Brave New World but it was a tad depressing (truth hurts lol.) Island, while ending on a sad note, is a much more enjoyable book to read... although it hasn't aged as well as Brave New World.

Watch "Equilibrium" if you thought Brave New World and 1984 both needed more Matrix gun battles.
