I think "Fun with Dick and Jane" is good reading for you. It should work wonders for your spelling and grammar.

Lol, ya make fun of my spelling and grammar. This is the Internet Dumbass. I don't have to write Correct grammar or make sure I spelled an word right. I also dont have to be bitch at by grammar Nazis like you.

Seriously, you should build a foundation by learning the basics.

Also, you called yourself an "Internet Dumbass".

You fail to realize that you had used a proper noun.  The sentence should have been written, "This is the Internet, dumbass." Just because it's the Internet it doesn't mean that you should slack on proper grammar; it's the reason you go to school, is it not? However, if you want to parade around the idea that in 16 years you have learned less about english than my roommate has in 6 months, by all means, go ahead.

A few tips for the future to sound more mature:

Learn how to use a comma.
The words "dumbass" and "correct" are not a proper nouns.
It's "even though", however you did catch yourself on that one.
On my keyboard the ' key is less than 3/16 of an inch away from my pinky, which happens to rest on the ; key because I learned how to type in a semi-proper fashon.  It's not like you need to attach some special USB dongle to use it.
The word "an" replaces "a" when before most words starting with a vowel.  Sound the sentance out if you're not sure.

As for a good book, try "Handbook of Technical Writing", 7th ed. Brusaw, Aldred, and Oliu.  Also "Technical Communication" 7th ed. Markel.

If you want to go ahead and correct my grammar, go for it, but at least I actually try to use what I learned in school.

If you want this guy to improve his grammar & spelling, perhaps you should not without from him the source material from which he would like to learn.  If you want a good war book, and just a good book in general, I'd suggest checking out Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card.  Classic.  The bean sequels are also good.

enders game is a good book, but i would consider it a rather light read. I really dont read any war novels, or dark comedy, but for anyone looking for some awesome fantasy book i HIGHLY reccomend the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, and you MUST start with book one if you dont want to be completely lost. Also if anyone is looking for some good science fiction, i reccomend Larry Niven's earlier work, or Ken Macleod.
