For a "tl;dr" type of person like myself these books that combine traditional factual blabber with the cartoon format are a great way to gain a basic understanding of... things. To this day I've read their books on Kafka, Macchiavelli, Stephen Hawking, Descartes and Sartre. The book on Kafka was particularly interesting because there were comic versions of some of his short stories.
Anyone else has any comments on the books or possibly the format itself? Also it seems there's another similar series called "for Beginners" out there, is it any good?
