Good Omens

Good Omens is a book about an angel and a demon getting together to kill off the Antichrist, which is a ten year old boy who loves his dog [secretly a hellhound] and cares about the environment. It's a great read, very witty, exactly what you'd expect from the authors--Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Just thought I'd give a recommendation.

Good book, funny read although I found the parts about Adam and friends a little boring. Crowley and Aziraphale are always funny though. Especially when drunk.

And don't forget the 4 *new* riders of the apocalypse.

I love that book so much. It was so funny. ^_^

I love Neil Gaiman.  Neverwhere is a good read as well.

It's not Pratchett's best work, but only because nothing could be better than Small Gods. It is very good, though.

The ending is a bit too cop-out, which is a problem in lots of other material (especially anime).

It's a good book, but not as good as what the autors can do on their own... Small Gods is indeed one of Pratchett's best, althought I can't decide wich book from the discworld serie is my favorite. About Gaiman, American Gods is one of the best books i've ever read ( and I have read thousands, no kidding ). Neverwhere and Coraline are wonderfull too.

Did I mention that these two are among my favorite authors ? ^^

The book was really back and forth...some parts were absolutely clever and funny while other parts just dragged on. The ending though was pretty terrible.

It was overall a good book, but yes, the ending built you up for a whole lotta nothing....

i read it when i was younger, but since i've forgotten most of it since then, i plan on re reading it as soon as i finish my current stack. i remember it being quite readable in places and immensely boring in others, but i did get a few laughs out of it.
