Yutapon hasn't been a regular in Bones anime since Soul Eater. He will do stuff in episode 1, people will get hyped and he will never appear again... like in Star Driver.

Name: Anonymous 2013-05-27 9:36

He appeared in Star Driver's finale.

What does Yutapon spend most of his time doing at Bones then, with so little work to show for lately?

Killing Bones.

Maybe training the newer staff? I feel like just having Yutapon in the same building as me would make me a better animator.

Norio Matsumoto > Yutapon

I prefer Yutapon's action scenes, but Matsumoto has done more stuff like animating entire episodes and has greater control of the animated form. Despite that, the former's work is a lot more exciting for me to look at.

I'd say Yutapon's animation is more stylish and depicts weight better whereas Matsumoto is faster and shows detailed fight choreography that is more grounded in reality(relatively speaking).

Matusmoto has more range than Nakamura; his scenes are more creative and he can't be stereotyped as a single class of animation. Nakamura is a one trick pony, barely any better than Shishida. There is no serious sakuga nerd that would hold Nakamura over Matsumoto, he is a GOD CLASS animator comparable to Inoue and Iso.

nakamura is higher than norio in the Top tiers classment i think

>Matusmoto has more range than Nakamura; his scenes are more creative and he can't be stereotyped as a single class of animation. Nakamura is a one trick pony,

That's true, but I think there's nothing wrong with being a one trick pony in animation when your animation style is fantastic and inimitable.

>There is no serious sakuga nerd that would hold Nakamura over Matsumoto

I think that kind of reasoning is just stupid. They are both top class action animators, no point in comparing them. Whether you prefer one of the other is a matter of taste. Nakamura has a single fantastic style that not even Matsumoto could replicate, while Matsumoto can do fantastic animation with a wide range of styles.

I don't remember this episode. Then again, I haven't watched B:TAS in a hell of a long time. Anyway, that was pretty damn crazy.

Like past Yuasa productions, its aesthetic leans more toward showing off the incredible detail and fluidity of motion achieved by his animators rather than a clean, spotless “animation-by-committee” look of more conventional productions. In other words, it looks like it was created by real humans, and it’s wonderful for it.
