I don't see Flash catching on in Japan and for the foreseeable future it's likely hand-drawn animation will be around, being used alongside 3DCGI.

The prologue has some pretty good animation as well.

Viviedred continues to have solid animation. Besides Kouno's henshin cuts, there was some nice effects animation before the OP and the kendo duel was neat as well. Any idea who animated the latter?

Trigger co-founder Masahiko Otsuka (episode director on Gurren Lagann, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) directed the video off storyboards by Yuichiro Hayashi (009 Re:Cyborg). Sunao Chikaoka (Abnormal Physiology Seminar, blossom, Kyo no Gononi) supervised the animation designs, and Sachiko Yajima served as the production designer and animation director.
I think I might have seen some Imaishi-ish or Amemiya-ish movements at 1:57
>>72 the majority of the effusive praise for Fate/Zero is centered around Gen Urubochi, for example; even though that show has some terrific animation by some of the best key animators working in Japan.

Nozomu Abe's work in F/Z was impressive to be fair, anyone would be impressed by it.
