No, I don't think so.

Go watch some Nisemonogatari then lick a homeless bum's ass, tell us which you prefer.

I actually just finished the first ep. I like the character designs, they seem a bit off-beat.

Pretty cool. The running animation of Shinya in the roof looks a bit awkward though.

>>759
Is that a bad thing that the people coming here is increasing ?
I mean , sakuga will get more recognition and that would be cool no?

Somebody said earlier , this thread was kinda dead with like 10 guy posting,I think it's ultimetly a good thing if more people coming here , there will be more troll yeah but that could drag more nice people also.

>>763
Sorry for the spoil , but please continue , that serie is awesome

Name: Anonymous 2012-10-18 15:45

>>765
It's not nice discussion if there are a lot of people who trash talk all the time. If you want to talk sakuga then fine, but don't go arguing like a troll with every single post.

That's a nice find, I've never seen Ishihama's key animation before.

tough shit, it comes with the territory. People will troll and people will argue with each other, that's just how it is on forums, even moreso for anonymous ones. Whining and complaining about it won't change anything. If it bothers you that much, then maybe you should stick to twitter or something where everyone can be identified and where everyone is nice to each other (I wish).

people who fling shit about shitposters baffle me

That some really horrible character design.

He directed the OP for Natsuyuki Rendezvous. It was pretty nice.

Well take a look at some of these:
Welcome to the NHK: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHs5AjAvFoA
Speed Grapher: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_4tHerkecQ
Bleach OP5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEjT-Xx8Jmg
Bleach OP13: http://vimeo.com/15993774
Beelzebub: http://vimeo.com/40038160

NHK, Bleach OP 13 and Beelzebub were done by Ishihama all on his own. The other's were all directed by him.

Thanks, those were nice. There's something quite appealing about the coloring in Ishihama's works. Also, I've seen the Bleach opening many times before, but I had no idea OP 13 was a solo work. Good stuff.

Bleach is just horrible, and that Beelzebub had terrible artwork, it's all pastels and shit.

How do you go about recognising which cuts are by which key animators, especially for those that aren't extrememly distinctive?

Name: Anonymous 2012-10-18 22:12

>>787

timing, which is to say the flow of the animation. The way each animator holds frames is fairly unique can give away their involvement. To recognize timing...just watch a lot of anime and pay attention to the animation on a drawing level like "how many drawings are in this cut" and "which frames are emphasized"

though it's not always easy to tell

Are you an 2d animator ?

If all else fails, just wait for the official production books.

Name: Anonymous 2012-10-19 4:32

After 2 weeks of hell from work I come back here and see this? What happened here?

If this is getting too much attention then we might as well shift it into a forum. This is plain terrible without any sort of moderation. I prefer the slow animation thread than this.

Polite sage for off topic.

How about i shift you into a forum you microphallused goatlicker.

I wonder what is Ryotaro Makihara doing now.
Psycho-Pass or Robotics;Notes?

Name: Anonymous 2012-10-19 6:08

He's directing an episode for R;N iirc. It's safe to say that he will be mostly involved with that instead of PP I guess.
