Three months ago I started watching this show, then when Toonami announced that it would air Casshern Sins I decided to finish watching it. So let's have a Casshern thread, no Toonami, no dubs.
So what happened? This is what I think happened:
Humans fucked the world over with nuclear bombs and flee into space. They sent Luna to plant some flowers, Braiking Boss to get rid of contaminated life, cyborgs to inhale oxygen and exhale CO2, and robots to help in whatever way they can. BB felt that Luna wasn't doing her job, so he created Casshern to kill her. Casshern being the perfect killing machine killed her and absorbed her delicious nano-bot blood. Luna #2 was then created, and Luna #3 was put under guard by the three siblings. Luna #2 began doing her job until she realized that her work would be ruined when the humans come back to Earth. So Casshern had to kill Luna #2, but he was able to convince her to do her job properly. Plants began to grow, the atmosphere returned, and the robots rusted away.
