Moot no longer cleans up and configures the boards like he used to so it get overloaded and faults increase as he leaves it till 4chan break down and then he acts.

I love that despite being practically forgotten by moot and left pretty much unmanaged this place still has better uptime than 4chan.

The text boards don't use "sys", which is the server that receives posts for the image boards, and it's always sys, that is down.
Usually I'd guess it's a (D)DoS, but then moot would probably already have said something about that on status, which he hasn't.

it's not stuck, but it's taking a minute and a half to show a 2MB jpg. usually with several connection resets.

i wonder if it is actually that slow or if Virgin Media are throttling it.

now it's taking about that long to show a 200KB image.
