Mahou Shoujou Lyrical Nanoha

Recently got interesting in Nanoha and I'd like to know if I can watch the 1st movie without watching the first season or if that's going to skip a lot of details I'd might need watching A's.

You can. Many would say it's even preferable, since it just glosses over some of the slower parts of the TV series.

Yeah, the TV Show has a problem with trying to be a cliche magic girl show for about the first 2 or 3 episodes, plus that hotsprings episode.

Just watch the movie, it's about all you need.
