Which anime do you think has the worst ending ever?
Out of all the shows I've seen, I'd have to say Bobobo has the worst ending. After wasting 70 episodes to build up the plot, they end the show right at a cliff hanger. It felt like a big slap to the face.

The first Negima Anime.
"Oh, we don't have enough episodes left to start the next story arc, so let's kill the female main character, then make up some tragic backstory explaining why she died and revive her an episode later with the power of love, friendship and time travel!"
I still don't know what they smoked to make this seem like a good ending, but i sure want some of that...

I'd have to say Loveless does.

Never seen Negima but you reminded me how much I hate the 'revive everybody after they die' endings. Shows like Mai Hime, Sailor Moon, etc. use them and it's really annoying.

Bobobo production was cancelled. There were more episodes planned following the manga story but nobody were going to pay for its production costs.
IMHO, Evangelion's おめでとう was all crappy, but at least they thanked you for not leaving the series before. I still wonder why I kept it watching without understanding anything.

I'd agree if Evangelion HAD an ending. >>7
Miura can't even finish the manga after 20 years; it's asinine to expect OLM to give any resolution in 25 episodes.
It's unfortunate but because companies want to milk the profitability of a running manga, ends are usually rushed or ignored.
