I have always agreed with you OP.  It is an awful anime, Fumoffu is even worse.  The people who enjoy this series are either pressured into it or have no taste at all.

I enjoyed Fumoffu. Mostly because i found that it was funny. I liked the dry humor, but not nessacarily the plot.

Sure, its not the best anime show ever, but speak for yourself.

Full Metal Panic is a Mellow Drama show. I blame Lol Gonzo for it's crappiness. I won't say it's shitty, but I won't say it's good either. That one guy constantly getting killed and not really dying, when there are no super powers or anything in the like other than the whispered (and that won't make you immortal. Also that guy obviously wasn't one.) it was past ridiculous that he wasn't dead the second time. However, as Mellow Dramatic as the show was, it served as a good introduction to the world and characters, and the animation quality was quite nice too.

Now moving on to Fumoffu, it's fucking brilliant. KyoAni took all the crazy Highjicks Gonzo left out of the orignial and made a show just of that. I can't compliment it enough.

Second Raid is even better because it returns to the story and all that Mellow Drama is long gone. There is some serious asskicking and Drama going on, and I for one want MOAR.

You'll never find another comedy based around a soldier transferring into high school who blows up everything around him to protect a single girl.

I want my third season and I want it right fucking now. ;_;
