Make me an anime fan!

Hey so i am trying to give anime a chance because i always thought it was dumb without ever really trying to watch it. So i was wondering if you could give some good start off shows to really get me into the whole scene. thank ya!

You can never suggest an anime, and then say "if you don't like you're probably not into anime."

It just doesn't work, since anime has countless genres and styles, you have to try all of it before you swear off anime.
