I'm not into anime like 99% of the people on /a/. I've only seen maybe two or three anime films in my life. One of which I cannot remember the name of.
I saw this about 10 years ago on TV.
All I remember of the name is:
Name starting with A (Something like Akira, but clearly not): The Z-something Prophecy
Maybe?
Main character was a female. Short, black hair. Tight, black, leather(?) suit. Held two pistols.
The monster in the film was this gargantuan thing with weird face(s?) on the end of its tongue(s?).
The only scene I remember was she was wrapped up in the monster and she held her pistols pointing diagonally up past her head and diagonally down past her knees. Just kept firing at whatever the monster wrapped her in and then everything around her faded to white and she had some vision.
Probably won't get me anywhere, but I thought I'd give it a shot.
