How come anime characters have no body hair?

Seriously I've never seen a male anime character with chest or even leg hair. wtf?

Well.... Asian's just don't have body-hair, even in real life. Of course there's exceptions (like myself) who suffer body-hair + hair loss(!!!). (I sometimes suspect that my dad had been flirting with a female-gorilla and I was the by-product!!)

Seriously, though, it's like the make-up artists on movie scenes. They want to make the character look their very best for the scene. If they wanted to make him/her look realistic for a particular scene they'll purchase some hair from god-knows-where and paste it on the actor/actress.
