Daphne in the Brilliant Blue.

I just finished watching the entire Daphne in the Brilliant Blue series and may I say that the ending kinda left me feeling like my mind was raped. Its as if everything I knew from the beginning and middle of the series was a lie. I guess the biggest thing I'm having trouble understanding is that Maia Mizuki's Grandfather is actually her Big Brother

If anyone else has watched this series through to the end did you feel the same way too? And if so, how did you reconcile the truths of Elpeda and the lies fed to Maia by Kevin and that other chick from the Ocean Agency?
