I realize what information I'm going to provide here isn't going to be much, but maybe someone will recognize it. I'm not sure if it's from a mecha-anime (which is usually only what I watch)
It's probably early mid to late 90s or early 2000's.
All I can really remember is one scene, and I believe it was one guy having a flashback about a kid, who turned out to be some form of royalty, the flashback showed the kid standing next to his father, and possibly other family members, all with their hands held up and turned back with a star type design or light coming from them. I believe they were dressed in white, and I want to say this was set in a more futuristic era.
Perhaps this guy was fighting with this kid, and had the flashback remembering him from another time. Or perhaps this guy was just killed by the kid. (really wracking my brain trying to remember what show this is.)
I know it's really vague, but I definately remember the scene of the family dressed in white, hands up, turned so the backs are facing out with light/star kind design illuminating them.
