Otaku

From what I have seen the financial income of the otaku varies. Yes, some might be poor while others have plenty of money because their parents are rich white doctors, lawyers, or marine biologists. Anyway they have enough money to go buy manga, anime, toy models of Card Captor Sakura, and to go to anime conventions and after they return from the convention they go back to their parents' basement and play World of Warcraft 12 hours a day for everyday until the next convention.

If the otaku was depending on his parents for money when they pass away the otaku will inherit plenty of money from their rich white parents' life insurance policies and that will support their fat and lazy lifestyles for about another 20 years. After those 20 years have passed they will have became so fat, smelly, and lazy that the government will send them free checks because they will be considered disabled. They have it made and they don't need to work at all.

There is another possibility.

They develop real-life mecha-building abilities, become engineers, move from parents' basement into so some corporate lab, and continue being otaku there (though usually building less impressive things because what self-respecting company would want a mecha?).

I foresee military interest in a working armored assault battery like a mecha or iron-man suit. We're basically all just waiting around for some impatient guy from MIT to get around to it. So far, it looks like they just like building fart synthesizers, belch dolls, and on-dash hulla-dancers.

I'm sure Boston Dynamics would love to build one.

Listen...
You think you know everything about Otaku and what they do and how their lives turn out. And you've only considered one type of Otaku when there are loads. I'm Otaku and let me tell you aboout me, comparing to what you have said:

I'm 17. I'm all Otaku, i love games, anime, music, and all of these MOSTLY JAPANESE. And i know a heck of a lot about japan. My family is poor, i came from the middle east to europe. I'm studying Game Development at college, and work about 25 hours a week with average wage. I buy lots of manga, anime, games, music and lots of other stuff, and spend time enjoying them. I DONT live in my parents basement, i got my own great room, packed with great stuff, i don play World of Warcraft though i do play about 6 MMOs at the moment, including Cabal, Call of Duty 4, MythWar. While doing all this in control time, i go out a lot time to time, with friends, chilling and messing about. I socialise a heck of a lot when i feel like it, and sometimes just prefer to be alone. I dont depend at all on my parents money, i aim to go to university then move to japan, working in a games company, hopefully Square Enix, while still keeping this lifestyle.

So i think you get my point now and all you other idiots who think you know Otaku. This is the kind of Otaku that i am, THOUGH you arent entirely wrong.

so what the fuck have you got against otaku u idiot. you foolishly assume that otaku fans like me have no life, that we are just some nerds sitting in the dark on our pc's allday, in the attic, living with our mums...well you know what, SOME of us are and DO live like that and some of us, like me, have great lives who socialise fully and go out a lot WHILE AT THE SAME time spend a lot of time on PCs and shit

So i speak for ALL Otaku Fans and Wannabees, and all Japanophiles and Wapanese[japanese wanabees]:
DONT FUCKIN JUDGE US BEFORE YOU GET TO KNOW US
