Would anyone disagree with me in saying "/a/ - /a/" or "/a/ = /a/"?

The great breadth of subjects that make up /a/, the years of posts and infatuations, all create the culture that is /a/.  What is wrong about discussing what it is about /a/ that makes it /a/?  I'm not talking about daytime vs. nighttime, newfags vs. oldfags, or any other pointless, troll-bated topics.  I'm talking about legitimate topics discussing the state of /a/, both past, present, and future, what is wrong and right, what can be improved, etc.

So mods, why delete such good topics that are so often full of good discussion and few trolls?

I was not trolling, I was merely pointing out that >>1 should stop posting dramafag threads in /a/ and instead put them here so that /anime/ could live up and become something like /prog/ (or rather /lounge/ because dramafags are homosexual faggots (the posters in /prog/ are merely homosexual)).
