I wanna watch a new Anime, could someone tell me a decent one with fighting, plot twists, things you have to think about. That sort of thing, my favourite so far is Death Note, so I'm looking for that style of thing.

Gungrave was also a great anime series. One of my top 5. Had a great story, was really well done, and action packed. Throwing that up there for anyone who wants to give it a shot!
Also, go check out Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, and the second season, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai. It translates to When the Cicadas Cry (Just incase you were wondering). Another few good ones are: Basilisk, Ninja Scroll, Gundam Wing, Full Metal Panic!, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. If you want something a little more based on romance go watch Loveless. If you want some hentai for 'some reason', I hear Black Bible and Night Shift Nurses are two good ones.

code geass is very similar to death note, its kinda mecha but the basis for why you liked death note would still be there cause i enjoyed both of them equally
Out of the anime this season, Gurren Lagann has really outshone the rest. But I'm really digging Potemayo too, even if it is a fairly cute and fluffy kinda show.
Death Note is good. I liked Code Geass too.
If you get a chance, watch The Big O. 52 episodes long, and one of my favs. Retromech action ftw.

>Things you have to think about
Death Note made you think? Slow down there, cowboy... Maybe you should try some Sailor Moon next.
If you're paying attention to the storyline, you don't have to go through any trouble at all to predict what would happen next. Seriously. It's kind of obvious in anime.

Anyway, I watched Elfen Lies, finished it last night. Bit of a strange ending, the main storyline of it was alright, a couple attempts at plot twists, yadde yadde yadde. The cliffhangers at the end of every episode were occasionally good.
Give it a 5/10
I think I might go for this Code Geass that you guys are talking about so that I can join in this arguement. But Death Note will be hard to beat.
Oh, and a mate mentioned something called The Profession? Something about an assasin and rape and shit. I dunno, you guys know what he is talking about?

+ What about Full Metal Alchemist? All I've heard is good things but thats from folks that only watch Naruto.
FullMetal Alchemist is quite good. Even the English dub is good. One of the better dubs.
Also, Naruto ftl. It was good for a while... Then it turned into shit. Same with BLEACH.
Personally, I liked Kiba, Gankutsuou, Air Gear, Loveless (Warning: Loveless is shounen-ai), Kyou Kara Maou, Kasimasi (Warning: Kasimasi is shoujo-ai), Sensitive Pornograph (Warning: Sensitive Pornograph is yaoi), and E's Otherwise.
Go have fun. fapfapfap

Mai-HiME has EVERY LITTLE FUCKING THING you're looking for. Deep characters? Check! Fighting? KICK ASS CHECK! Ninjas? Check! Robots? Check! Plot Twists? CHECK!
I do not believe anyone has mentioned Wolf's Rain.
It has a different pace than most anime, slower in some cases. I loved the story personally, although many people complain about the ending. It has good art, character development and one of the best musical scores around. Honestly, get the OST, and listen to it.
