actually 40000 USD a year is not good enough. you wont be able to live in a bigger house located in a nicer district. you also wont be able to drive higher class cars. you'll probably be leasing a cheap car, instead of paying for it fully upfront. you'll probably be living in a small house, or renting a small apartment.

This would actually be as good a place as any to do a study of the portrayal of drugs in anime, and manga. As previously mentioned, the only notable examples of weed smoking I can think of are in Samurai Champloo, and I'm also pretty confident Afro Samurai is depicted smoking weed in a couple episodes. Can anyone else think of some anime, or manga that portray drugs in a realistic fashion, or that feature MCs that regularly imbibe? I know that in Blue Submarine No. 6, the MC does heroin on a regular basis. Also, the manga Ultra Heaven is probably the most accurate portrayal of psychedelics in the comic medium.
