When shows all used hand-painted cels, QUALITY was practically non-existent. You ever notice that you never see anything pre-2000 in QUALITY threads? That's because the animation cels were all inspected for quality, but now they just use animation programs with motion tweening and stuff.

3, thats really off topic but much more interesting none the less...I'm not sure how Higurashi was animated...
