the "moral" of densha otoko was basically that the guy could keep at his escapist lifestyle and still find a super-hot woman. since the show's just entertainment that's fine and all but I do hope not too many otaku drew real life conclusions from that. if you're living your life in such a way and are not willing to change yourself, like densha did not want to change, then chances you'll hook up with a dream woman are in fact pretty miniscule.
