Anime illegal in China?

I hear it's illegal to watch Japanese Anime in China during prime time hours..  anyone have official information on this law or something?

China, in an effort to stimulate their own animation industry, is making laws that ban showing anime on the air during primetime hours. In other words, anything animated on primetime will be made solely in China.

Kind of interesting to see what happens.

They stopped companies from translating and voicing Japanese Anime...so there's no more QUALITY Detective Conan available in chinese anymore :(
