rebuild of evangelion

theres going to be 4 new movies redoing evangelion. eva is lame but who's going to watch these out of morbid curiosity? i know i will!

while eva is pretentious at times, it certainly isn't lame.
That aside, I will see these. Hope they come to a theater near me.

I love EVA and all, but I won't be watching the movies. I love the series as they are.

And I don't care much about Death and Rebirth and EoE either.

if they get released on the big screen here (which i doubt) i'd don a disguise and watch it secretly. and while the original series was entertaining there were things that could be improved, such as production quality. the animation style was good but it will be nice to see it redone with the technology available today.

I would go watch the movies just to see if they could even compare to the series. In my opinion the series kicked ass.

They could very well end up being better than the series. Though people wont actually think that as they already have a bias towards the original. *waits for summer*

I predict by the time the fourth movie rolls around, they'll have run out of budget, forcing them to use stills and old clips from the previous movies. Then, they'll release the REAL ending in a fifth movie, which will include Shinji masturbating, AGAIN.

They are not retelling it. They are 4 new movies. The first one is dealing with 2nd inpact. The forth is after the end. and the other two are in between the series.

Oh, god.  Does the world need more emo Shinji?  I'll watch it for curiosity sake but I'm not really a fan of the series.
