I don't like fanservice of the sexual kind (the in-joke kind of stuff is OK, as long as you know what it's about), because I don't see the point. I'd rather watch something with a decent plot and characters than something that relies on boob jokes, etc.
That said, I think the male kind annoys me less, probably because it's not aimed at me, a straight male. It's doesn't seem so obvious, so it's easier to just ignore. Also, I think male fanservice in general is easier to ignore than random panty shots and stuff like that. (Though, of course, it might just seem that way because of it not being aimed at me.)
