Ok, so I just saw "The place promised in our early days", and I simply loved it. Beautiful art, great story and stunning views - what more can you ask? My question... What are Makoto Shinkai's other movies, and where can I get them (*ahum* for free *ahum*)?

And, of course... Similar movies not made by him?

besides Voices of a Distant Star (Hoshi no Koe) and The Place Promised in our Early Days (Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Bashou), he's done a number of shorts which i don't think were ever licensed in English.

his next movie, 5 cm per second (Byosoku 5 centimeter) is supposed to be released either this year, or early 2007.  no clue when or if it will be licensed either.
