Actually, no. I like it because it doesn't try to be serious like that Haruhi crap you seem to like ;)
Eva isn't that bad actually. The last two episodes are though, never have I seen anything that boring. I love the mechanical animations, I especially remember one where some building or something rose from the ground and the camera was really close. Man, I almost came.
