TokyoPop has officially ruined it for any decent OEL manga artists for awhile. You wanna get your manga published and you know it's better than the shit currently on the market, then you're going to have to lay back for awhile until this current crop of shit blows over.

yeah. OEL=Amerimanga, except OEL is like an appended term for it since it doesn't ALL come from the US. Actually, some of it's not that bad, but the standards are definitely lower. I liked Dramacon and MBQ, and there are a couple other ones that are interesting, but nothing that really earns the tag "required reading."
