Megatokyo has went downhill since Rodney Caston left. I'm sorry Fred, but your comic was better when it was, I dunno, funny. Quit with this emo bullshit and then maybe you'll get back some more readers.
Other than that, his art has improved quite a bit.

megatokyo essentially started off as a wacky gamerz comic with shoujo romance undertones. this earned it it's original rabid fanbase. with rodney gone, fred was stuck with a wacky gamerz comic that he really didn't know what to do with. it has quite steadily developed into a shoujo romance comic with a wacky backdrop. this is it's failing.
despite rodney leaving any active role in the comic, his presence still permeates megatokyo, and this is holding fred back significantly whether he knows it or not. if he really hopes to do anything as a comic artist, he needs to sink megatokyo and go his own way with a new project. clinging to an existing work and trying to pull it in the direction he wants, rather than creating a new and original work which he can guide from the beginning, this is what seperates the comic artist from the mediocre fanartist.
his artwork's acceptable though.
