I'M UNEMPLOYED AND LIVING WITH MY PARENTS. I SPEND APPROXIMATELY 7 HOURS EACH DAY WATCHING ANIME AND ANOTHER 2-3 READING MANGA. MY DREAM IS TO GO TO JAPAN AND GET A GIRLFRIEND THERE. ALL OF THIS IS TRUE AND I KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO LAUGH OR RIDDICULE ME BUT I DON'T CARE BECAUSE I'M PROUD OF IT AND MY MOTHER AND FATHER SUPPORTS ME IN ALL OF THIS. THAT'S PROBABLY MORE THAN YOU CAN SAY.

By the way I am unemployed, out of school and live with my parents! I watch at most 3 hours of anime, but more than often nothing at all.

Do you have access to free drugs that can be used for recreational purposes?

i watch 2-3 eps per nite. and read about half an hour of manga every other day (in raw japanese of course, to keep my japanese skills honed)
also unemployed and living w/ parents, but then i just graduated, so it's not that pathetic yet. besides, i'm going back down to peru in a couple of weeks, where i will get a girlfriend (to learn spanish from) and perhaps even a job (if my friend has the connections he says he has)

I used to watch my OAVs for about four hours any given week; not happening anymore.
I usually watch an episode of whatever before going to sleep. How people can concentrate on a TV screen long enough to watch an entire series in a single day is beyond me.
It also seems pretty dumb to go through all the material you have as quickly as possible. What are you going to watch afterwards then? There's not exactly an unlimited amount of quality entertainment available.

The next series in the 200 TB queue.

How do I find time?
Considering the average episode is ~25 minutes, you'd have to be a tool not to find time to watch one episode. No one is that fucking busy.

Aye, I single out the best one and watch about 2 episodes a week on average, maybe more. Definitely much more at the moment.

weekends, after dinner, before sleep
25min ... it shouldn't be a big problem...

I have plenty of free time to watch it, i just find it hard to get the motivation to watch it anymore. I only watch more than one a day if its interesting enough, Mushishi and Mai Otome being recent examples of that

>i just find it hard to get the motivation to watch it anymore
You realize that you don't HAVE to watch it, don't you?

yeah you don't if you are not interested in it
like you don't need to practice piano everyday for 1hour...

If you need motivation to watch it, I suggest not watching it and finding a hobby you enjoy more.

I go to college during the school year and work part time on top of that. I've managed to maintain an "A" average and still got 7-8 hours of sleep each night.
I *STILL* managed to watch about 2-4 episodes of anime each week as well as play video games for about an hour each night. I lose interest after an hour anyways so it works out well.
Schools out for the summer so I have more free time now. I hate free time. I never know what to do with it besides go on 4chan.
I wish work would give me more hours.

If you don't care about genres, there's A LOT of quality anime out there. Even if you watched 10 episodes a day, it would take 2-3 years to watch all the quality stuff. Most people who stop watching anime and "grow up", just do so because they're watching a shitty anime. Well dumbfucks, read some reviews or take a look at a top list next time.
(Note: I am kidding, avoid everything except Cowboy Bebop on that list. Read the Monster manga.)

I have time because I substitute anime for sleep. Now all I have to do is figure out a way to avoid this annoying REM rebound.

I'm watching nearly double the anime I was watching before summer started. I still have too much spare time for my own good. I need a girlfriend or fuck buddy or something. =/

There is no such thing as too much spare time.
Why do you feel bad and let society dictate what you should do with your free time? Are you dense? If you want a girlfriend, get one. If you don't, don't.
