Viz sez NO BOBOBO 4U!!!!

I sent an email to Viz asking them when they're going to release the entire series of Bobobo manga and they pretty much said that even though it sold very well they're not going to release any more volumes.

I'm sortof curious here.. I very much doubt any non-Japanese could understand even 70 % of Bobobo's shticks.  Take a look
at what they did to the TV series...  I find like at least 50 alterations in every episode, and most are quite questionable.

Unfortunately a lot of Bobobo's humor comes from Japanese language specific puns and cultural references.

References to old comix/"famicon" game titles, Tv commercials, current affairs, etc...
Anyone who claims to be enjoying the TV series should know
the show actually retains less than 50% of the original gags.
Usually, I'm all for artistic license and everything,
but this time I have to question, like, why they had to import Bobobo if they would kill it outright..  

I don't care.. it's still fun to run around saying, "SUPER FIST OF THE NOSE HAIR!"

he's talking about the US broadcast where they went ahead and changed all the untranslatable gags (that is to say everything). normally i wouldn't like such a treatment, but untranslatable is untranslatable. i'd rather they change the gag then have to explain it in subtitles, because that's anti-funny.
