Is it really unaffordable to have US animators and computer animators work in a US studio? I know it's cheaper using Korean slaves, but is it a economic necessity?
I guess so. Because profit = win for producers `~`

if it saves the kind of money that cheap korean labor saves, then yes. most clothes companies don't bother to employ americans either, when a starving ten-year-old can do the same job. sad but true; that's how businesses do things.

They need to start putting huge taxes on outsourcing... it may make the suppliers happy because they have cheaper labor, and it may make the consumers happy because it lowers the price on the products, but its not doing anything to help the value of the American dollar. The government needs to deck corprate America in the face and tell them to keep American money in America instead of giving it to these foreign workers.
