Yukikaze

Okey guys, I need some help here. In epsiode 1, why does the Mave shot the "old" Yukikaze when it has finished the JAM off? In epsiode 2, the TX-1 (I think that was the plane's name) bombs itself when it've helped Rei with killing some JAMs, why? :S And also.. in the end of ep 4 we se a copy of rei, wtf? Will I get the answers to my questions in the final epsiode?

Btw, I hope what I just wrote made any sense.

maybe because it dont like to have a twin, thats why it destroyed the other one.

btw i didnt remember seeing a copy of rei in episode 4,

I think it was because the JAM might've gotten a hold of it and messed around with it, so the copy destroyed the original.

Okay, here to lay the law down.

The FRX-00 UCAV receives a hot data dicking from the downed Super Slyph.  The UCAV destroys the JAM/Slyph and the Slyph.  Between episodes 1 and 2, the Yukikaze program is transfered to a Mave.  The UCAV still has a copy of the program is can act on its own accord, namely using the observation/AWACS craft as a missile shield.  Yukikaze isn't afraid of death if it means survival for Lt Fukai.

Actually I know the answer because I'm a big fan of original novel (and hater of anime version). But I don't want to asnwer the first question here because you need to understand the story more deeply to get the reason right.

>>8 is close, but it's not for fear of messing around. (The hint is in the hospital scene.) To be exact, FRX99 Yukikaze is not "copy". And there is one more important reason. (The hint is, how Bukhar described FRX99?)
>>10's theory can't explain why FAF's central computer said YOU HAVE CONTROL Lt. FUKAI in ep.2. By the way, is Rei so important for Yukikaze? Why?

>>1's second to fourth questions are not so difficult to answer.

In epsiode 2, the TX-1 (I think that was the plane's name) bombs itself when
it've helped Rei with killing some JAMs, why?
To be exact, it's TS-X1. It's self bombing is just for gaining a bit of time. This absurd scene doesn't exist in original novel.

in the end of ep 4 we se a copy of rei, wtf?
It's JAM. The plane is old Yukikaze (FFR-31MR/D SUPER SYLPH) and the pilotname is LT(2)REI FUKAI. LT(2) means second leautenant, but Rei promoted to first leutenant in episode 1. This means JAM had copied Yukikaze and Rei in some point in time of episode 1, and used them to contact real Yukikaze and Rei. (In the original novel JAM copied them at the scene of hospital - in reality JAM's Unknowable War Area -, but the anime version has some plot holes.) Yukikaze requested "SWITCH TO AUTOMANEUVER LT." This meant Yukikaze didsn't need to fight with JAM now, but needed to contact with JAM. Actually this was the proposal for peace from JAM To Rei (in the original novel). The negotiation is collapsed.

Will I get the answers to my questions in the final epsiode?
No. (^^; The original novel is unfinished and the scriptwriter wrote his OWN dramatic ending, which is simply stupid. GONZO DID AGAIN.

Guys, thanks for all your answers. Can I get ahold of the novel in english?

"The original novel is unfinished and the scriptwriter wrote his OWN dramatic ending, which is simply stupid. GONZO DID AGAIN."
