Is there any other _good_ cyberpunk, then?
I've been through
http://anime.mikomi.org/by-key/Cyberpunk numerous times, and to be honest: it all looks like kiddie bullshit with cyberpunk art direction. I liked Lain because it did not once degrade into action brawl/gun porn, nor did it have a franchise to embellish with an endless number of meaningless episodes to fill up its contract.
Is there anything that tells an intelligent story that has realistic, mature characters? Or should I just see Lain again and read a book?
