What an overrated show, it was like watching EVA all over again. Except this time it was crappier.

I only watched the first 5 or so episode. Does it get all crazy with giant alien things, wierd vortexes or any other crazy shit like eva or does it just stay as a lame mech show with surf boards?

Eva was cool cause it was so insane. Does this get better?
