Correct order of Ghost on the Shell stuff

I've recently acquired all Ghost in the Shell anime that exists. What is the correct order to watch it?

My guess:

First movie
1st gig series
2nd gig series
Second movie (Innocence)

Also, where does the Tachikoma special stuff fit in? Did they show one of those after each episode of 1st gig? (or 2nd?)

I'm with you about the movies and the manga.

However, I always thought that the first SAC kind of based on the first manga, but happened in an alternate universe where the puppeteer never existed and there was the laughing man instead. The plot has some similarities between the anime series and tha manga, there are even similar scenes, but the story on the whole is different. I haven't watched the 2nd gig yet so I don't know how that fits in but I'd wager it somehow continues in the same timeline that 1st gig started.
