Literature, novels, games, comics, live action movies or TV series, old cartoons, what would you like to see as an anime adaptation?

Honor Harrington.
I don't think it would work because this isn't the 80s anymore, and there is only one good scriptwriter working in Japan these days, that being Hideyuki Kurata.

There's a beautiful, dark, moving NGE fanfiction called "Lifespan of a Love Affair" that I'd like to see either animated or made into a manga.

Yeah, the early Planetes anime episodes were terrible. I don't want shitty comic relief (the moon ninjas were alright though) and they didn't animate Windmillville :(

Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. I think a *long* running anime series adaptation would rock.

"Wheel of Time" needs a ruthless editor to go through it with a chainsaw and get rid of about 95% of the material, and then Robert Jordan needs to come up with an ending already.

I can't think of anything even near annoying in Planetes that wouldn't cause you to hate Arthur C. Clarke too. Unless this is just because I don't know my orbital mechanics?
Anime already has enough loli shows! What we really need are more mature-minded shows for the older anime fans. Most of us are growing up and getting older.
