It just isn't that big in the US. There's the comics, but it doesn't even get fansubbed much.
On the other hand, America's never really dug Urusei Yatsura, and both have a very similar tone.
I think a lot of people are put off by what looks like a fairly kiddie style at first glance. And it isn't like UC Gundam is big here. And Gunsou without knowing UC is like seeing Kevin Smith without knowing Star Wars and Comic Books.

I read the manga ant I think it is good but the anime is still better ! keroro's voice, the music,and to see keroro move is ....great!!!
This manga/anime should be more known in europe....

The comics have a bit more fan-service than the TV show. Hell, in one of the recent comics there was a joke about how they had to be careful of the TV-show's for family-friendly nature.
The TV show kiddied it up a bit.
