He's trying to printscreen stuff while it's playing on media player.
You're getting a see-through hole when you try to paste it into paint, aren't you?
I don't think you can prtscr in any media player, period.

I prefere Media Player Classic. Technically, if you're serious about using WMP and screen-capturing, the way out is to disable hardware acceleration in the options menu. (Namely, tell the player not to use your graphics card while playing videos.) But that's idiotic, so just use a better media player. =P

I use VLC Media Player, it plays just about everything, and has a SS feature to put the file out in .jpg or .png which I guess is nice.

and F5 for screenshot in media player classic.
something else to note: Fraps,a program used for recording videos(and screenshots) in games is also capable of the same while watching a video.

Just use BSplayer and get easy .jpg screen captures. Media Player Classic screens are too large size-wise.

To get individual screenshots, use Media Player Classic.
Even better, use Virtual Dub or (Virtual Dub Mod for ogm) and you can find the exact frame you want to take a screenshot of.

WMP > Tools > Options > Performance > Video acceleration > Advanced > Video Acceleration > Uncheck: Use overlays.
Also uncheck: Use overlays from the DVD video subframe to screenshot a DVD.
