How can they fix the overlay issue??? The issue with the overlays was the overlays itself. To fix it they'd have to remove it.
The overlays like you said totally spoiled the show. I have the fansub version (in realplayer) and the DVD-rip. Between those two I'd rather watch the fansub version when they merely subbed the Jap text. It looked way better.
Prince of Darkness was the total opposite. No overlays but no translation at all of the screens. Again fansubbed version beats this as well hands down.
