Anime Music Remixes

Whatever happened to them?
Use to be pre-2000, all the anime opening songs had their remixed version in the albums.

THe only reason why there isn't anymore is because nowadays more anime music is taken out from the mainstream list (ie the songs are actually marketed to the mainstream audience as well)

do you mean the full versions? usually they release those on singles instead of OSTs nowadays

No actual remixes. Like for example in the Gundam Wing OST they had the full opening song and its remixed version (faster style etc)

You don't see that anymore with opening songs.

the Gundam SEED Complete Best album had all the full OP and ED themes, plus remixed versions of each. I don't know of anything more recent than that, though.
