Why does most hentai look like crap?

Seriously, most hentai looks like it was drawn by a 12 year old. And even if it is well drawn, its animation is either really choppy or the Genitiles are drawn so badly its hard to tell what the fuck they are.

Why is this? Is it just that americans get the shitty hentai?

Is it because most hentai is censored, and must be re-drawn once it gets uncensored and sent to america?

Hentai has limited appeal and therefore an often limited budget. At least humping scenes are generally pretty easy - animate a twelve frame cycle, and just pan slowly across it for ten seconds. Face it, nobody watches hentai for quality artistry, they watch it in order to make knuckle children.

Also, if you think hentai anime has to be redrawn to decensor it for American audiences, kindly leave the building (via a fourth floor window). There is no way on earth hentai has a large enough audience in the US to justify spending tens of thousands of dollars on redrawing animated scenes.
